Dear Yuletide Author,

I’m so excited that we matched! Being Jewish, Yuletide is my favorite part of December 25. I can’t wait to read whatever you write, but most importantly have fun! I know it can be stressful at times but I like to think of it as my last accomplishment of the year (writing and posting an entire fic! <3 )

Overall Likes/Dislikes

DNW: Preferably not Christmas-focused, Noncon/dubcon, first/second person POV, character bashing, A/B/O, poetry/songfic (though if you made a playlist while writing i would be delighted to listen to it!), needlessly grimdark (angst with a happy ending is fine), torture.

Likes: Tropes! Fandom specific and in general. I love AU, UA to see how any changes big or small effects these characters and the nature vs nurture of it all. I love fluff and moments of casual intimacy, but I also really enjoy plot and world building. I mention my preferred ships in each request, but I also would love gen/character/worldbuilding exploring fics! 

Kyoshi Duology - F. C. Yee

What I Like About the Characters: I’ve read Rise of Kyoshi at least 3 times this past year. Incredible showstopping comforting!!

Rangshi is the best ship in the Avatarverse, period. 

However I would love to read about any of the characters or more worldbuilding set during this time period!

I am a Yun apologist. He did so much wrong but I love him and feel bad for him!!!!!!

Doom Patrol

What I Like About the Characters: God I love Doom Patrol so much. Every character is amazing and flawed and deeply weird. I saw someone describe the show as having a strong emotional core and it’s so true. It’s such a treat to spend time with these characters.

DNW: Larry/Negative Spirit. My overall DNWs can be ignored for the weird fanfic trope prompt as you’re free to get as stylistic/weird as you desire!

Prompts: As they deal with wild shit on the regular, I would love to see them deal with a weird fanfic trope, i.e. A/B/O.  

I adored the Dead Boys Detectives (best backdoor pilot I’ve ever seen!) and would love more of them!

I think Rita is a lesbian and I would like to see that explored and Larry being there to support her.

Maybe something fun with Cliff and his grandson!

The Locked Tomb Series

What I Like About the Characters: I love Ianthe Tridentarius so goddamn much. The gaslight gatekeep girlcorpse of my heart. Everytime she enters a scene I hear an audience laugh track booing. She’s so hot and pathetic at the same time. Light of my life!!

DNW: Ianthe/Corona :/// 

Prompts: ok so ianthe clearly has Some Agenda going on. Would love to see a fic exploring that, especially whatever favor you think Ianthe will call in on Harrow. Speaking of our favorite twig, I am very down for Ianthe/Harrow, especially if Harrow hates it.

Obviously I love all the characters in this wonderful series so feel free to include whoever else you want!

I am a twin so her relationship to Corona always gets me. Would love anything pre or post-series about these two.

I would also love more worldbuilding! Every throwaway line about the Nine Houses is horrifying and would love to see that explored.

Edited to add: I finally read As Yet Unsent and would be more than fine if you included Jodybeth😭 They stole my heart in 12 pages!!

Cruel Summer (TV 2021)  

What I Like About the Characters: I started watching this show bc I’m in love with Olivia Holt, and I was happy to see she got such an amazing, complicated role. I was surprised about how much I loved Jeannette, and the reveal made me even more invested.  

I adore how dark and fucked up Kate and Jeannette’s mirror relationship is. 

DNW: Mallory Higgins/Kate Wallis as the main ship. I’m sorry, I know!!!!! They’re very cute together but I am here for a dark time with this show!

Prompts: Let's get fucked up!! Kate/Jeannette, please and thank you. Is it mutual? One-sided? Whatever it is, it's not healthy. Dubcon and grimdark are allowed for this. No happy ending is needed here.

Cloak & Dagger (TV 2018)  

What I Like About the Characters: Mina and Brigid are such great characters. Complicated and competent, hearing they were supposed to get together in S3 made me even more mad that the show got cancelled. But now you can make it happen through the power of fic!

Of course I adore Tandy and Ty and would be more than happy to see them or any other character cameo (including the Runaways!)

DNW: Same as the overall DNWs.

Prompts: Mina and Brigid post Snap?  Possible S3 adventures? Holding down New Orleans while Tandy and Ty are away? Falling in love over Brigid helping Mina with science stuff? I am here for all of it!
